POINTING YOUR DOMAIN NAME AT YOUR SMALLPOND HOSTING SPACE
(Altering the Domain Name Servers - DNS)

You need to be able to access your domain administrative area.

The domain administration section located on your Domain Registrar's website.
Enter your login details
(issued to you when you registered your domain name).
Once inside your Domain Admin area you will be able to alter the Domain Name Servers to point to the SmallPond Servers

SmallPond DNS details are sent in the SmallPond "Account Activation" email.

TRANSFERRING YOUR DOMAIN NAME

You may transfer your domain to a cheaper Domain Registrar.
You should allow allow ample time prior to your renewal date.
It is best to start the transfer procedure some two months before the name is due for renewal. 30 days before the renewal date is the cutoff point for transferring a domain.
A .com domain will require pre-payment of another year with your new Domain Registrar.

You will need your "Domain Transfer Authority" or "Secret Number" to instigate a transfer.
